The Research Hub collects email addresses from site visitors that voluntarily provide an email address under the ‘Get Updates’ form.
We also collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit the Research Hub website (“Log Data”). This Log Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser version, which pages of the Research Hub that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on individual pages, and other statistics. Voluntarily provided email addresses may also be tracked in Log Data. We do not collect Personally Identifiable Information (“PII”), and we do not link IP addresses to any personally identifying information. User sessions will be tracked, but users will remain anonymous.
In addition, we use web tools such as Google Analytics that collect, monitor, and analyze the Log Data. User information (email address) is not included in our Google Analytics tracking, but can be internally linked within the Research Hub development team.
USE OF INFORMATION AND INFORMATION SHARING
The Research Hub uses the email addresses collected through the Research Hub to provide you information about news and updates regarding the Research Hub, the All of Us Research Program (the “program”) and other email communication related to the program and website. Email addresses are shared with a third-party service, MailChimp, which stores the information in MailChimp-managed databases. Email addresses may also be shared with authorized DRC partners, including the National Institutes of Health Program Office. Web server logs are retained on a temporary basis and then deleted completely from our systems.
We do not sell any information that you provide to the Research Hub.
This site has security measures in place to prevent the loss, misuse, or alteration of the information under our control. It is compliant with NIST-800-53 and has been audited as per FISMA Moderate. Vanderbilt University Medical Center and the DRC, however, are not liable for the loss, misuse, or alteration of information on this site by any third party.
