Scientific Questions Being Studied
We want to know if the information provided by All of Us database is enough to help the researchers to assess health literacy and contribute to improving health equity and health outcomes. This includes looking at EHR captured primary language data, interpretation service use, survey questionnaires, health literacy test results, and type of access to healthcare reported.
- Population Health
- Control Set
Is intend to use datasets from EHR and research the type of information provided in these records. Based on language provided or any service of translation use for this patients including the outcome of the healthcare.
For the moment, the anticipated findings are that there will be a lack of equity in regard the language inclusivity. This will help to have a better understanding of the situation on healthcare outcomes and help future researchers with more information on how this can be solved.
