Exploring data on patients with Allergic rhinitis to determine what specific medications are used, and what influences use

Project Purpose(s)

  • Disease Focused Research (Allergic Rhinitis)

Scientific Approaches

We will utilize a cohort of allergic rhinitis patients, and look at socioeconomic factors, such as geography and income, to determine whether these factors influence specific medication use using univariate and multivariate methodologies.

Anticipated Findings

We anticipate that allergic rhinits will be more prevalent in certain areas of the country, and that socioeconomic factors will influence treatment.

Demographic Categories of Interest
