Scientific Questions Being Studied

At this time, my goal is to review available data to develop a research question in fulfillment of my translational science PhD. The general premise at this time is to look at the COPE survey to better understand COVID behaviors during the pandemic. Hoping to develop a more succinct approach thereafter. One specific area I'm interested in is how COVID affected doctor's appointments for cancer patients and how that affected their personal experiences during COVID lockdowns.

Project Purpose(s)

  • Population Health
  • Social / Behavioral
  • Ethical, Legal, and Social Implications (ELSI)

Scientific Approaches

At this time, the project is in development. I'm not sure how to ask my questions as I do not know how the data are structured.

Anticipated Findings

My goal is to use these data to better inform pandemic policy particularly as it relates to accessing healthcare.

Demographic Categories of Interest
