Scientific Questions Being Studied

I am exploring the data to formalize a research question aimed at understanding barriers to health service utilization among LGBTQ+ people. This is an important topic for understanding population health needs, promoting health equity and improving service utilization outcomes among LGBTQ+ people.

Project Purpose(s)

  • Population Health
  • Social / Behavioral
  • Educational
  • Other Purpose (I plan to use the data in a study for my doctoral dissertation, and may seek publication of the findings in a peer-reviewed scientific journal)

Scientific Approaches

For the study, I plan to conduct quantitative analyses using the data available through All of Us. Additional details will be formalized in conjunction with research question and strategy.

Anticipated Findings

I anticipate that this study will result in a greater understanding of barriers to healthcare faced by LGBTQ+ people. These findings will help in identifying areas for intervention and further study.

Demographic Categories of Interest
